Low Voltage Installation Services

We specialize in designing and installing:

  • Intercom Systems: Building entry systems for residential and commercial properties

  • Access Control Systems: Secure door entry solutions with key cards, fobs, and remote unlock via manufacturer's applications (note: we are not developers of these apps)

  • Network Equipment: Professional installation of Ubiquiti networking equipment (customers may purchase their own equipment from different brands, but we may not support programming all equipment and customers will be responsible for maintaining their own equipment)

  • Security Systems: Camera systems and monitoring solutions

All installations include:

  • Custom design and layout

  • Professional installation by experienced technicians

  • System configuration and testing

  • Client training on system use

  • Documentation of installation

  • Ongoing support

We work primarily on a service and design basis. While we can provide equipment as part of our installation packages, many clients choose to purchase their own equipment, and we're happy to install customer-provided hardware that meets our quality standards.

All services are priced in US Dollars (USD) and are available throughout the Chicago area.

Refund Policy

  • Service/Installation: 100% refund within 30 days for any improper installations, delays on our end, or wrong parts ordered

  • Equipment: 100% refund available if equipment has not been installed and is in original condition

  • Deposits: 100% refundable if no parts were used, 90% if we have to return items to sellers, 0% if products are non-returnable by seller

  • Design Fees: Design fees are non-refundable once designs have been delivered and approved

Before installation, customers must acknowledge how they will use the equipment to ensure proper installation and functionality. If you're unsatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us immediately so we can address your concerns.

Cancellation Policy

  • Service Appointments: May be canceled or rescheduled with 24 hours' notice without penalty

  • Installation Projects: May be canceled with 48 hours' notice; deposits will be refunded less any design or preparation costs incurred

  • Monthly Service Subscriptions: May be canceled at any time by phone or email with 30 days' notice; refunds will be provided for any unused prepaid service beyond the 30-day notice period

Warranty Information

  • All installations include a 1-year warranty covering any issues resulting from improper installation

  • Warranty does not cover user damage, environmental damage, or equipment failure not related to installation

  • For manufacturer defects, we will assist in processing warranty claims with the original manufacturer

  • Extended warranties are available for purchase on most installations

  • System design documents are stored on a secure, offline Network Attached Storage (NAS) device

  • Temporary access to design files may be granted via secure cloud storage during installation

  • All cloud storage is protected with two-factor authentication

  • Admin passwords are stored using Bitwarden with 2-step authentication and Yubikey for first-time sign-in

  • We are a privacy-first company and value your confidentiality

  • No customer data is sold or shared with third parties

System Logs:

  • Equipment we install may maintain internal logs of system usage

  • These logs remain on your equipment and are not exported or analyzed by us

  • You have full access to view these logs at any time through unifi.ui.com

  • Logs are typically maintained for up to 1 year per manufacturer settings

  • These logs help troubleshoot any issues you may experience with equipment or end user client devices

  • Customers can request to turn logging off, but this may result in higher service hours for troubleshooting

Your Rights:

  • You may request copies of any information we hold about you

  • You may request modification or deletion of your information

  • All of your information and details will be treated as confidential

Payment Terms

  • We accept payment via Stripe, check, or electronic transfer (Zelle)

  • All payments are processed in US Dollars (USD)

  • Deposits are required to schedule installation

  • Final payment is due upon completion of installation

Legal Compliance

  • All installations comply with local building codes and regulations

  • We follow industry best practices for low voltage installations

  • All equipment we install meets NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) compliance requirements

  • We maintain all necessary business insurance

Payment Security

  • All credit card transactions are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor

  • We do not store your complete credit card information on our systems

  • Stripe maintains the highest level of security measures to protect your payment information

  • Our payment processing systems employ fraud prevention measures to protect against unauthorized charges
